Employees thank Mock

Employees at 805 Newtown Circle gathered Wednesday, April 24 to show appreciation for Sam Mock’s consistent hard work, and especially for the initiative he took during the previous week’s storm, which delayed the health department’s opening time. Mock posted signs in the clinic waiting room and talked to patients about the altered clinic hours. Employees presented Mock with a certificate of appreciation, cake and his favorite Gatorade drink.

Lexington-Fayette County Health Department employees took time to share pictures of their own pets in order to help LFCHD’s Communications Office build a social media campaign to promote Environmental Health’s annual low-lost Rabies Vaccination Clinic. This year’s clinic will be held 6-9 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at Third Street Fire Station.

Keep an eye on Healthy Times for more pet pictures next week…

Administrative Professionals Day

The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department (LFCHD) honors its administrative professionals as part of Administrative Professionals Day (April 24).

LFCHD’s administrative professionals include Jeanette Alvarez, Debbie Davis, Lindsay Earlywine, Blanca Marsh, Laura Overstreet-Sandusky, Raven Sigala, Joy Spencer, Pam Hopkins, Becky Lynn, Nancy Turner, Donna Eustice, Marla Moore and Sandra Lilly.

Administrative Professionals Day honors the office professionals who make offices work. Modern office professionals bring order. Please take time to thank our administrative professionals for all they do.
